Individual Therapy Sessions
Individual sessions available Monday through
Thursday.

I work with individuals, in groups, with couples and with families.
I do therapy that is expressive, that teaches, that allows you to
work as fast as you can to unlearn the things that hurt you and
learn the new ways that will lead you to the life you want. I use
psychomotor, Gestalt, EMDR, Transactional Analysis, psychodrama
and cognitive behavioral therapies to make the work as powerful
and impactful as possible.
Individual therapy
Individual therapy is where you can examine your life
and look at how things work or don't work for you. It is here that
you will look at your behaviors, learn new skills, and examine your
beliefs about yourself.
Group Therapy
In a group, we can see others more clearly than
we can see ourselves. And that opens us up to ourselves. Although
I work with individuals and with couples, group is probably where
people have the opportunity to grow the fastest. Some groups are
for women only, some have men and women. Some people focus on weight
loss or other "behavior changes" and others focus on relationship,
parenting, career or any area where they feel stuck. I can also
customize a group just for you and your friends.
Couples therapy
I work with couples who want to stay married and with
couples who want to learn all they can while they end their relationship.
My husband, Joel,
is a psychotherapist, too, and sometimes we work with couples together
- each of us working individually with one of the partners and working
together with both of them in couples counseling.
