I am a licensed clinical social worker with a private practice here
in Atlanta. I have a bachelor's degree in Journalism, and worked
in the advertising business for the first half of my career life.
I went back to school to get my masters in Social Work from the
University of Georgia, and began my career as a psychotherapist
in 1999. Actually, I learned how to be a good therapist by being
in my own therapy, and I'm still committed to learning and passing
along the best psychotherapy that I can to my clients.
I am affiliated with STAR,
an intensive therapy retreat based in California and Arizona, and
have served on their Board of Directors. I am a member of the American
Academy of Psychotherapists, and have served on their southern region's
planning committee, and am a member of the National Association
of Social Workers.
I work with my husband, Joel, who is an excellent
psychotherapist, too. If you think you'd like a male therapist,
then check out his website. We work in a sweet little cottage on
Clairmont Rd. in the Chamblee -Brookhaven area. Click on "How
to Find Me," to find us!
